Before you pay

Is this a scam? Will I lose my money?

You pay $0.15 for one number, with no subscription. If no code arrives within 20 minutes, the money goes back to your balance automatically, so a failed attempt costs time, not money.

What if Amazon rejects the Italy number?

Cancel it and take another Italy number or take a number from Brazil. The money for the rejected number returns to your balance.

Will someone else use this number for Amazon?

No. After you get your code, the number is not sold again for Amazon. A carrier can still reissue an old number, which nobody can check in advance. If the app rejects it, cancel the number before a code arrives and the money goes back to your balance.

Can I call or text from it?

No. The number only receives SMS, which is what the sign-up code needs.

Italy phone number format

Italy mobile numbers look like +39 31X XXX XXXX: the country code +39, then 10 digits. When Amazon asks for your phone, pick Italy (+39) in its country list and type the digits that follow.
