Questions
Do I need the number for calls or just for the code?
Just for the code. The number receives incoming SMS only: no calls and no messages you send. That is enough to get the KakaoTalk verification code and finish sign-up.
Is a monthly plan necessary?
No. You pay for one number when you need it, from $0.01. There is no subscription.
What if the code does not come?
Cancel the number. If no code arrives within 20 minutes, the money goes back to your balance, and you can take another number or another country.
Can I use it for my bank?
No. Our numbers do not work for banks or government sites. Use them for apps and websites that ask for a phone number at sign-up.
Will someone else use my number for the same app?
No. After you get your code, the number is not sold again for KakaoTalk.
